BURTON LANE RECEIVES OFF-BROADWAY CONCERT CELEBRATION FEBRUARY 12-14

Burton Lane, composer of Finian's Rainbow and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, will be celebrated at the Off-Broadway 92nd Street Y's Lyrics & Lyricists Off-Broadway from February 12 through February 14. Music director David Loud (The Scottsboro Boys, Curtains, Ragtime) leads a cast of performers that includes Heidi Blickenstaff, Liz Callaway, James Clow, Joshua Henry, Michele Ragusa, and special guest John Cullum.
One of the Songbook's great melodists, Burton Lane wrote the scores to Finian's Rainbow, Royal Wedding, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, and standards like "How About You,"collaborating with lyricists from E.Y. "Yip" Harburg to Alan Jay Lerner.
The Off-Broadway performances will run Saturday, February 12 at 8 pm, Sunday, February 13 at 2 and 7 pm, and Monday, February 14 at 2 and 8 pm. Tickets are priced at $67 to $52, with a special $25 ticket price for patrons under 35 for the Saturday and Sunday evening performances.
