OFF-BROADWAY'S "THE LYONS" TO EXTEND RUN

The Vineyard Theatre has announced a second extension for its world premiere production of Nicky Silver's The Lyons. Mark Brokaw has directed the Off-Broadway production, which will now play through November 20.
The play focuses on a woman and her grown children, and their struggles to make emotional connections with one another after the death of the family patriarch.
The cast includes Michael Esper, Kate Jennings Grant,Dick Latessa, Linda Lavin, Brenda Pressley, and Gregory Woodell.
The creative team includes scenic designer Allen Moyer, lighting designer David Lander, and costume designer Michael Krass, as well as David Van Tieghem, who provides original music and sound design.
