'Carol Channing' In Concert has entered a temporary hiatus due to lead (and sole) actor Richard Skipper no longer being available for performances. The Camelback Kid (TCK), lead producer of the Off-Broadway production, is currently holding auditions for a replacement actor for the New York production and for out-of-town engagements.

The critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway show 'Carol Channing' in Concert, formerly Richard Skipper as 'Carol Channing' in Concert plays at St. Luke’s Theatre, 306 West 46th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues). It opened Wednesday, January 12, 2011. The production is directed by Mark Robert Gordon. A portion of the proceeds from this Off-Broadway premiere will benefit The Dr. Carol Channing & Harry Kullijian Foundation for The Arts.

'Carol Channing' in Concert celebrates the career and persona of the unique theatrical legend.  Accompanied by a three-piece band, a sole actor blends Channing’s standards with original material and other familiar songs sung in a spot-on Channing-on-Broadway perfection.  The musical surveys Channing's life with many stops along the way for unique --and riotous-- "ad-lib" interactions with the audience.
